NOVEMBER 2017 ARREST AND SUMMONS REPORT
On Sunday, October 29 2017, Deputies received a report of a burglary on the 15000 block of county road 38. After investigation, Deputies issued a felony warrant for Therisa Brown (DOB 05/28/1988) for the charges of Second Degree Burglary (CRS 18-4-203), Theft Against at risk Adult (CRS 18-6.5-103) and Unlawful possession of a controlled substance (CRS 18-18-403.5). Later Brown turned herself into the Prowers County Sheriff’s Office.
On Saturday, November 11, 2017, Deputies contacted a vehicle for speeding 97 miles per hour in a posted 65 miles per hour zone on Highway 287 North of Eads. Upon further investigation, deputies discovered the driver, Joseph Lingle, had an extraditable arrest warrant out of Weld County for failure to comply with court orders. Deputies took Joseph into custody and transported him to the Prowers County Jail. Deputies also issued a summons in violation of Colorado Revised Statutes 42-4-1101(1) Speeding 97 miles per hour in a posted 65 miles per hour zone.
On Friday, November 24, 2017, Deputies executed an arrest warrant for Leonard Shank for failure to comply out of Kiowa County. Deputies took Leonard into custody and transported him to the Prowers County Jail where he was booked and held on a $10,000 cash or surety bond.
On Thursday, November 23, 2017, Deputies contacted William Summerfield at the 601 Wansted in Eads. Summerfield was arrested for a warrant issued for escaping custody from the Colorado Department of Corrections.
On Friday, November 10, 2017, Deputies contacted a vehicle for speeding, 90 MPH, in a posted 65 MPH zone, on Highway 287. Deputies issued the driver, Peter Werner (DOB 05-01-1963.), a summons for his speed. His court date was set for October 13, 2017.
