Barbara Ann Weirich, (83), passed away on Wednesday, January 10th in the year of our Lord, 2018 with her family by her side in Pueblo, Colorado.

Gloria June (June) Barnes was born on March 26, 1926, in Wanette, OK to Dulcie D. and Ralph A. Barnes. She was of Pottawatomie Indian heritage and her paternal grandmother was instrumental in registering family descendants with the Federal Indian Agency. June’s Indian name was Ogemakwe which translates to Wise One. She was the oldest of three children.
She grew up in Asher, OK and graduated from Shawnee High School in 1944. She married Arthur Blooding in Dodge City, KS on March 5, 1945. They moved to Eads in the spring of 1946.
To that union were born Micki June, twins, Areta Arlene and Shaleta Charlene, Mary Irene and Sylvia LaVonne.
Obituary of James Offill, 70
James Alan Offill, of Eads, Colorado passed away peacefully with his family by his side on December 30, 2017 at Penrose Medical Center in Colorado Springs, CO. He was born on July 18, 1947 in Eads, the only child of Fred and Dorothy (Hollis) Offill.
Daisy was born December 9, 1924 to Ed and Helen Wall in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Daisy had an older brother, two older sisters, one younger brother, and one younger sister. Daisy was a fun loving girl and enjoyed many adventures with her siblings. She referred to her older sisters as the “big girls” and herself and her younger sister as the “little girls.” She talked about her father taking them to the Indian reservation and also on excursions to buy furniture for the used furniture store. After graduating from high school, she worked at Duckwall's and loved to work at the makeup counter. Daisy always liked jewelry and to look her best.
Charles Gray Howard was born on April 8, 1926 in Jessamine, Kentucky and passed from this life on November 30, 2017 at Cheyenne Manor in Cheyenne Wells, CO where he had lived for several years since moving there from Eads, CO. Charles was preceded in death by his parents and by his beloved wife Louise “Sis” Howard. Charles is survived by his daughter, Professor Angela Howard and her husband James Blain of Seabrook, and by his younger brother Robert Howard of Tampa Bay, FL.
