Wranglers have a Strong Showing at the Tumble in the Jungle

The Wild West Athletics Wranglers out of Lamar had 16 gymnasts compete in Salina, Kansas in the Tumble in the Jungle on March 2-3, they represent 6 competitive levels and 14 different age divisions. In the All Around the girls brought home 5 Gold medals, 5 Silvers and 4 Bronze. It was the largest meet of the year so far.

Her score on the beam was 8.85 also for 4th and vault was 8.8 for 3rd place.

Kaitlin Baca of Granada, Co. - Level platinum, proudly brought home the Gold in the All Around with a score of 37.40. She took 1st place in 3 events, the vault 9.25, bars 9.2 beam 9.5 and finished with 3rd on the floor with a score of 9.45.

Brystal Bletzacker of Eads, Co. - Level 1, proudly scored a 38.10 in the All Around for the Gold. Her highest score of the day was 9.7 on the bars for 1st place, she placed 2nd on the beam with a score of 9.4 followed by the floor with a score of 9.65 for 3rd and a 9.35 on the vault.


Jailyn Brandl of Tribune, Ks. - Level 2, brought home the Silver in the All Around with a score of 38.15. She took 1st place on the vault with a score of 9.5, On the other 3 events she took 2nd, Bars 9.7, beam 9.35 and floor 9.6.


Sakura Cole of Las Animas, Co. - Level 1 came home with the Gold in the All Around. She took 1st place in 3 events, bars 9.5, beam 9.55, floor 9.1. On the vault she took 2nd place with a score of 9.55.

Haylee Beth Darnell of Holly, Co. - Level gold, brought home a score of 35.95 in the All Around. Her scores were the following vault 8.8, bars 8.35, beam 9.45, and the floor 9.53

Tryleigh Suede DuVall of Granada, Co. - Level 3, brought home the Silver in the All Around with a score of 37.95. Her took 2nd in the following 3 events bars 9.45, beam 9.4, floor 9.5. Her vault was a score of 9.6.

Laila Garcia of McClave, Co. - Level 1, brought home the Gold in the All Around with a score of 38.35. She took 1st place on both the bars with a score 9.8 and beam with a score of 9.75. Her score on the vault was 9.35 and 9.45 on the floor for 3rd place.

Tressa Korum of Holly, Co. - Level 2, scored a 36.75 in the All Around. Her highest score of the day was a 9.5 on the beam for 3rd place, she also took 4th place on the vault with a score of 9.35. On the bars she scored a 9.05 and a 8.85 on the floor.


River Loader of Walsh, Co. - Level 2, brought home the Bronze in the All Around with a score of 36.90. She took 3rd place in the 3 following events, bars 9.55, beam 9.15, floor 9.0. Her score on the vault was 8.4 for 4th.

Hensley Mireles of Lamar, Co. - Level 3, had a score of 37.25 in the All Around for the Bronze. She took 2nd place on the bars with a score of 9.3 and 3rd place on the floor with a score of 9.35. Her score on the beam was 9.05 and vault was 9.55.

Stella Simon of Kendall, Ks. - Level gold, brought home the Bronze with a score of 35.76. She took 2nd on the floor 9.45, 3rd on the beam 8.7 and 4th on both vault 8.6 and bars 9.0.

Ella Splitter of Sheridan Lake, Co. - Level 3, brought home the Silver in the All Around with a score of 37.65. Her high score of the day was on the beam with a score of 9.3 for 1st place. She took 2nd on the other 3 events vault 9.7, bars 9.2, and floor 9.45


Abygail Stevens of Lamar, Co. - Level 1, proudly brought home the Gold in the All Around with a score of 38.05, she took 1st on the vault 9.5, 3rd on the bars 9.6 and 4th on both beam 9.45 and floor 9.5.

Kali Stevens of Lamar, Co. - Level 1, took the Silver in the All Around with a score of 37.95. She took 1st on the beam with a score of 9.7, 2nd on the bars with a score of 9.45. On the floor she scored a 9.4 for 4th and 9.4 on the vault.

Addison Vallejos of Lamar, Co. - Level 2, brought home the Silver with a score of 38.35. She took 1st place on both the vault with a score of 9.7 and bars 9.6, followed by 3rd place on the floor 9.6 and 4th place on the beam 9.45.
