If you gaze from any south facing window on the top floor at Cobblestone Inn & Suites in Eads, you will witness breathtaking views of the prairie in which Cobblestone has become home to. Depending on the time of year and day, you may see the prairie flowers in bloom, wildlife and even the distant lights of the windfarm south of Lamar that is more than 50 miles in the distance.

Cobblestone Inn & Suites was opened in March of 2014 after a group of mostly local business owners and other community members came together to solve one of Eads’ biggest problems-- the lack of a modern and comfortable hotel with the expected amenities for travelers and tourists to stay for the night or for a few days.

Whether coming to Eads for business, pleasure, or merely to rest your eyes after a long days drive, the Cobblestone Inn & Suites has 33 guest rooms and impressive amenities that can take care of your lodging needs.

In the Cobblestone Lounge, there is a nice variety of bottled beer and even Stella Artois on tap. The front desk agent will also cook up something hot to eat after a long day of work or travel from their menu that ranges from cheeseburgers and pizzas to giant soft pretzels and hot wings.

The small stocked convenient store is a place that any guest may find a late-night snack, cold drink, or ice cream sandwich as well as items they may have forgotten to pack in their suitcases.

A small fitness center and coin operated guest laundry are other amenities that are custom at all Cobblestone Hotels.

The guests are not the only people who can benefit from these amenities.  The local community is also welcomed in for something to eat or drink, or even to grab a snack at the convenient store.

The property is also home to a meeting room that has been used for birthday parties, business meetings, wedding preparations, and many other events.  The meeting room can serve drinks and appetizers, has a wide array of seating and table choices and multimedia equipment as needed.

Cobblestone Hotels is a flagship based in Neenah, Wisconsin that values themselves on “big city quality, small town values” and their mission has been to open Cobblestone Hotels all through the country in smaller populated areas that may struggle to keep tourists and travelers in the local economy.

Cobblestone Inn & Suites in Eads runs a staff of 12-14 people, which has been a great boost to the employment opportunities for the local population.  Housekeeping, front desk, maintenance, and the General Manager all work in tandem to keep the property in prime condition.

With the Sand Creek Massacre National Historic Site, Camp Amache National Historic Site (coming soon), and Bent’s Old Fort National Historic Site all located in southeast Colorado, Eads has become a hub for summertime tourism.  People from all over the country and world come to visit these sites each year.  Having the Cobblestone here in Eads has become a viable destination for all those who seek the history of the area.

Looking through TripAdvisor reviews for the property, it has been said over and over, Cobblestone Inn & Suites in Eads is “an oasis” “a hidden gem”.  The wonderful reputation of Cobblestone Inn & Suites in Eads is a direct reflection of the hard work put in by the staff and the management company who maintains a high level of professionalism and service for their customers.

The Cobblestone Inn & Suites is now an iconic business in Eads and is playing the role of one of the main economic drivers in our community.  With locally owned investors and a staff who mostly lives within the community, the Cobblestone Inn & Suites has become as important to the community as it is to their visitors.

If you are interested in becoming a team member at the Cobblestone Inn & Suites in Eads, contact them today.  There is currently an excellent employment opportunity as the company is searching for a dynamic hospitality professional to fill the General Manager position.
