Joe McCaleb is no stranger to many in Eads and surrounding areas as he worked at the Kiowa County Hospital District in the physical therapy department in Eads from 2010 to 2012. After getting more training and working in Colorado Springs for the past few years, McCaleb has started his own practice in Lamar called Da Vinci Physical Therapy.

McCaleb’s physical therapy clinic is located at 201 South 5th Street and is featuring a great November special that includes a $26 discount for new patient evaluations. His usual fee, cash only, is $100 for the initial consult and then $74 for subsequent visits. Usual sessions are a minimum of 30 minutes.

Joe received his B.S. in Athletic Training in 1996 followed by a Master of Physical Therapy in 2005. In addition, Joe is certified in Orthopedic Manual Therapy (Cert COMT) and Dry Needling (Cert DN) as well as being awarded a Master Kinesiology Taping instructor.

Joe’s extensive training and experience allows him to take an eclectic approach to treatment to meet the various needs of patients. He is passionate about delivering top-notch care in helping patients become pain free. Joe believes his greatest achievement is when patients no longer need physical therapy except to maintain their wellness and are able to live strong, active, pain-free lives.

“As a physical therapist I give my patients tools so they don’t need a physical therapist.”

His experience is extensive as he has worked for the past 8 years with the Colorado Ballet Society and has treated elite athletes such as Olympic runners and jumpers.

He now brings that expertise and knowledge to southeastern Colorado. Services include Dry Needling, Sports Injuries, Headaches/Migraines, Low Back Pain, Shoulder injuries, TMJ, Pre- and Post-Surgical Rehabilitation, Manual Therapy, Cupping and Kinesiology Taping.

McCaleb works well with other professionals in the area as he has recommended a local massage therapist and chiropractor to his current patients.

The Independent picks Da Vinci Physical Therapy, who brings the state of the art and science to Physical rehabilitation, as a noteworthy business in the area.

Hours are Monday through Friday from 12:30-5:30pm daily. Make your initial appointment by calling 719-940-1220. And remember, the November special will save you $26 to get started.
