Lots of people from our area took advantage of the opportunities they had to enjoy the county fairs in Prowers, Cheyenne, or Greeley Counties this past week. Our grandson Kyle and I went to Tribune Saturday evening for the Ice Cream Social and parade. Well, it rained on our parade - sheets of rain for about an hour. They received around 2". We had .6 in Towner and it was certainly welcome.
Our granddaughter Breeanna went home this past weekend to get ready for school. She will be a Sophomore at Winfield High School. How fast these young ones grow up.
