Prophets and the business of prophecy has been around since before Jesus walked the earth. The Bible tells us in Joel 2:28 that there were good Biblical prophets, and there will be good Biblical prophets today because God says He will pour out His Spirit, and our sons and daughters will prophecy.
The Bible also warns us that there have always been false prophets, as well, as it says in Matthew 7:15 and Matthew 24:24, there were some bad Biblical prophets and there will be bad prophets today as well.
Whether you are a believer that God has a hand in prophecy or not, the failed assassination attempt of former President Donald Trump has most people believing God had his protective hand on Trump that day. And, they also believe, obviously, Trump is meant for something much more important into the future.
No doubt, miracles happened that day. Trump turning his head just slightly to the right allowing the perfect shot to just graze his right ear missing Trump’s brain by a millisecond and a millimeter.
And, at the rally, people noted the huge flag behind Trump’s podium got tangled up and looked like an angel descending toward Trump.
Was it a miracle, or at least an eerily satisfying coincidence, that the shooting of Trump occurred at 6:11 pm and that the Bible verse in Ephesians 6:11 states, “Put on the armor of God so that you may be able to stand firm against the tactics of the devil.”
Finally, it was a miracle that the people didn’t panic and stampede which would have caused more death and mayhem. Instead, they stayed put in the line of fire and waited for Trump with anticipated horror.
There have been prophecy about Trump in the past. Some can be determined to come from false prophets trying to earn an easy buck. But one man in Oklahoma named Brandon Biggs made a startling accurate prophecy evidently about the assassination attempt on July 13th.
Biggs told of what he’d seen on March 14, 2024, some four months before the assassination attempt on Trump.
He said he saw Trump rising up. Then there was an attempt on his life. The bullet flew by his ear so close that it shattered his ear drum and made his right ear bleed. He said that he saw Trump fall to his knees and during that time frame Trump started worshipping the Lord. “He got radically born again.”
But perhaps the most interesting prophecy about Trump’s providential leadership over America came from an American named Tom Zimmer who saw a premonition in 1983 where he was told, “Donald Trump will lead America back to God.”
Zimmer was an American who had made a pilgrimage to a village in Italy where he lived plainly, as a hermit, in worship daily at the Holy House of Loreto in Loreto, Italy. There, over many years, it is said Zimmer had numerous visions he believed came from the Holy Spirit or from God.
One of the most revered relics within the Christian world is The Holy House of Loreto. This small house, which measures 31×13 feet, rests today in Loreto, Italy, inside the Basilica of the Holy House. In the first century, the Apostles revered the Holy House when it was attached to the opening of a cave that completed the home of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph in Nazareth. It is also believed to have been the place where the Annunciation took place, making it the location where the Word became flesh within the womb of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Some traditions also state that the Blessed Virgin Mary was born and raised in this house, but other traditions state she was born in Jerusalem and raised in the Temple. Within the house is the “Altar of the Apostles,” traditionally believed to have been built by the Apostles after the Ascension of Jesus into Heaven, with Saint Peter being the first to offer Mass there. There is also a wooden statue in the altar of the Blessed Virgin Mary holding the Christ Child. The statue of Our Lady of Loreto is a replica of the earlier statue that was destroyed in a fire in the early twentieth century.
It is said that the Holy House of Loreto was moved by angels to its current site. Others claim the house was moved during the Crusades. Nevertheless, it is considered an extremely holy place to come to in prayer.
Zimmer was visited in 2000 by a Catholic Priest who had heard about the 1983 premonition and wanted to interview Zimmer, the Hermit of Loreto, to better understand what he believed he had seen.
Zimmer told Father Curran what he had seen in the 1983 vision—that Donald Trump would lead America back to God. Father Curran was so startled he asked Zimmer to clarify by asking, “The New York Playboy?”
Zimmer responded by saying, “Right now in the United States there’s a man who has the hand of God on him. He has the IQ of a genius and a first-class education. And everything he approaches he attacks with a blind efficiency.”
Father Curran emphasized again, “But Tom, he’s a jet-setting playboy millionaire—he dates Hollywood starlets. He’s always in the news with the glitterocity.”
Zimmer replied, “No Claude (Father Curran), I’m telling you the hand of God is on him and God is going to use him in the future.”
Then Zimmer revealed one more thing to Father Curran, “I’m so convinced about what I’m telling you that I have bought a memorial brick for DONALD J TRUMP and put his name on it. He will now benefit from all the masses and prayers inside the Vatican until the Holy Door of St. Peter’s Basilica opens.”
Zimmer and Father Curran parted ways but the Father never forgot what the Hermit of Loreto said to him. He visited one more time in 2007 after Zimmer had gone back to America elderly and seriously ill. Father Curran asked around about Zimmer and his prophetic abilities. He found a lady that knew him well as he ate in her café every day at exactly the same time. She told Father Curran that Zimmer, the Hermit of Loreto, had had dozens of true visions through the many years she had known him.
Maybe the vision as described by the Hermit of Loreto is a hoax, but it is absolutely true that Zimmer, who was deeply religious, lived as a hermit for years in the Holy House of Loreto. It’s also true that people who knew him believed with their whole heart he was a prophet.
Time will tell whether the vision Zimmer saw about Trump becomes reality. We’ll be able to tell relatively soon, though, as the Holy Door of St. Peter’s Basilica is scheduled to open on Christmas Eve, 2024, to mark the beginning of the Jubilee Year of 2025. The Holy Door is a walled entrance to papal basilicas that is only opened during Jubilee years, which usually occur every 25 years or when a pope calls for an extraordinary Jubilee. The 2025 Jubilee will be the second Jubilee with Pope Francis.
Will the brick that Zimmer said he put inside the Holy Door be there? If it is, that brick with Trump’s name on it has received 40 years of the most powerful prayers that can be made.
