Recently, Mark Rossi, J.D., was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Keefe Memorial Health Service District, and he brings an extensive history in healthcare leadership as well as over 20 years of industry experience and proven financial, legal and collaborative success to the hospital and clinics in Cheyenne County.
“After reviewing over 100 candidates, and five total onsite extensive interviews, the Keefe Memorial Hospital Board is excited with the experience Mark brings. Mark’s proven success aligns with the direction we have been headed over the last year under the leadership of Pathway Design Group,” said Wayne Caldwell, Keefe Memorial Hospital Board Chairman.
Rossi previously worked with Hopedale Medical Complex in Hopedale, Ill., where he helped the organization achieve a Top 20 Critical Access Hospital designation in the U.S. for Patient Satisfaction, and his team earned the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Five-Star Hospital designation in 2019.
“Mark led a hospital to success in a town very similar to the size of Cheyenne Wells,” said Claressa Millsap, Keefe Memorial Hospital Interim CEO. “His proven success is very exciting, given that the groundwork has been laid and the hospital is in a place of excitement to move forward with even more awesome possibilities. The hospital and clinics are already seeing an increase in patient volume, and we have begun to work on various promising growth initiatives. Mark is the perfect individual to transition to, and I could not be more excited.”
Rossi earned his Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law, Chicago, Ill., and his Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, Ill.
