Conaway Graduates from U.s. Army Infantry Training Program

Private (PVT) Tanner Hogan Conaway, 19, of Kit Carson graduated from the United States Army’s 22-week Infantry One-Station Unit Training (OSUT) program at the National Infantry Museum in Columbus, GA on December 14, 2023. PVT Conaway successfully completed the 22-week OSUT program, which consisted of nine weeks of Basic Combat Training and 13 weeks of Advanced Individual Training training at Fort Moore as one of 42 recruits in Training Platoon One. While in recruit training PVT Conaway earned both fireteam leader and grenadier designations. He is currently stationed in Fort Campbell in Kentucky, assigned to the 101st Airborne, nickname: Screaming Eagles, an elite division of light infantry that specializes in air assault operations, where he will complete10 days of air assault training.
