The Crow-Luther Cultural Events Center (CLCEC) board of directors announced today that they are sponsoring another spring fling Talent Show at the Plains Theater in Eads on Saturday night, March 23rd starting at 6:30 pm.

This is a fundraiser for the Plains Theater and will be used to support the upcoming Children’s Summer Theater production. The Talent Show ticket price has been set at $5.00 per seat.

This will be an open event for children from across the area and the CLCEC board invites anyone aged PreK through 12th Grade who has a talent of any kind to get involved.

So far, according to Claire Prince, CLCEC board member and organizer of the talent show, “We already have received nearly a dozen entries including children singing songs; playing instruments including the piano, drums, guitar, and violin; performing skits; a comedian act, and even a Rubiks Cube expert. This is just a fun, family-oriented night of fun that highlights the arts and the unique skills possessed by area children.”

The Plains Theater is an anchor establishment on Maine Street in Eads and doubles as a movie theater and a drama/production theater operated by the non-profit Crow-Luther Cultural Events Center. One of the main missions of CLCEC is to establish and promote the arts for all citizens in the area.
