Letter to the Editor - Clay Copeland

By Clay Copeland

September 26, 2018

Dear Editor,

I wanted to write the Kiowa County Independent and give Prairie Pines an unsolicited "Thank You" for all Prairie Pines has done for Mom. Without a doubt had it not been the care she receives at Prairie Pines she would be in a nursing home today. I think I can safely say her quality of life is much better than any nursing home she would have gone to. I honestly believe if we would have had to place her in a nursing home a few years ago, she would not be here today. The love that is shown by all the staff members to Mom as well as other residents comes from the heart. Having had her in another place, the difference and quality of care is day and night. My wife and I live approximately 5 hours away. We can rest assured on a daily basis that Mom is in good hands. Personally, I think Kiowa County should be proud of the fact Prairie Pines is located in their community. I have looked at virtually every Assisted Living and Nursing Home from Denver/Colorado Springs to Holly and Prairie Pines stands out far above all the rest. Some of the residents they have and my Mom included would not be here today if it was not for Prairie Pines and the Staff.

Sincerely,

Clay Copeland
Jefferson, Colorado
