To the Editor,

I am writing to publicly express my family’s deepest gratitude for the outstanding care and service provided by Morgan King, PA, during her time in Eads.

Living in a small, rural town, we all know that accessing high-quality healthcare can often be a challenge. We frequently expect to travel long distances for specialized attention, yet we were fortunate enough to find amazing care right in our backyard. Morgan truly went above and beyond the call of duty for our entire family.

She possesses that rare, perfect combination of a diligent diagnostician and a compassionate listener. She never rushed us; she truly heard our concerns and looked at the full picture of our health. Our family feels absolutely blessed to have had her in our community for as long as we did.

We are forever indebted to her for her assistance in diagnosing our son’s genetic condition that had gone undiagnosed for over twelve years. Even more, her commitment didn’t end when she referred us to specialists at Children’s Hospital; she was consistent in her follow-up and always ensured he received the ultimate level of care. It is because of her expertise and genuine heart that our son is doing so well today.

While we are heartbroken to see her go, we wish her nothing but the very best in her next steps. Morgan, you will be greatly missed by this family and, I am sure, by the entire town of Eads. Thank you for everything.

With Greatest Gratitude,
Maggie Pacino and family
Wiley, CO

Until the 1980s, political parties did not campaign on cutting or restricting the expansion of social programs like Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, and SNAP. There was a bipartisan consensus that the nation should prioritize balancing the budget, but that this should not be done by cutting these crucial programs.

Well, the Democrats are at it again, those spineless meatheads wet their pants when Trump renamed the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America. They’re in an uproar now that he wants to rename Lake Ontario to the Lake of America.

Mitch McConnell–where are you? Is this like looking for Waldo? McConnell, Schumer, Biden, and Pelosi—stay out of politics. These individuals and about 10-12 Democrat and Republican members should be poster children for pushing term and age limits for elected officials.
