Love him or hate him, former President Donald Trump got this one right a long time ago. Trump first used the term, “Fake News,” on December 10, 2016, and he continued to use it throughout his presidency and, still to this day, in his third bid for the White House in 2024. At first, most of us that were paying attention thought he was making fun of the corporate media, the Mainstream Media, as they struggled to come to grips with him winning the 2016 election. But soon, Trump’s “Fake News” claims became valid claims of misrepresentation and biased reporting on the part of the corporate media.
Today, for more than half of the population in the country, the “Fake News” is synonymous with a corrupt media that continues to lean more and more left—to the point that no Mainstream media—not FOX News, not MSNBC, not CNN, not ABC, not CBS, not BBC, not NPR or PBS, nor the New York Times and Washington Post—none should be considered containing much, if any journalistic value. People can now see clearly what the spin is, what the Fake News is, and they are quickly turning to alternative ways to get their news because they know they are being lied to.
George Orwell’s dystopian novel 1984, was written nearly 75 years ago during a time when fascism and tyranny had just been destroyed post-World War II. In the novel, the Party controls the Past, the Present, and the Future. How do they do that? They control and manipulate every source of information ever produced. They rewrite and modify all the content that was, is, and will ever be produced for the Party’s own gain.
Many will argue the book 1984 serves as a warning to us as to what life might become in the near future. Yes, but more than that, the true value of the novel is the way it teaches the reader—everyone must read this book—that the power and tyranny present in the lives of the characters were made possible through the use of words and how they are mediated. If you control the narrative, you control the thought of those who don’t know any different.
That is exactly what has happened, so rapidly, so aggressively in the early months of 2023. We learned through the Twitter Files that Mainstream Media, corporate media, is mostly controlled and manipulated by the government and their corporate donors. The Twitter Files gave us evidence that our own Department of Justice, under whose direction it is unclear, told Twitter to shut down any discussion on the New York Post’s bombshell story that came out in October of 2020, right before the election, where Joe Biden got more ballots with his name on it than his opponent Donald Trump, about Hunter Biden’s laptop that contained an amazing amount of corruption that, with high probability, would have sunk Biden’s Presidential chances—if only the voters would have known about it. But that information and the New York Post was cancelled, buried—they were silenced.
Truth tellers, whistleblowers, have been thankfully coming forward and that is helping to slowly bring the truth out on so many issues that were cancelled, concealed, or silenced for the “Party’s” gain. Those unveilings will continue, but understand we aren’t going to learn about them via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or any of the mainstream media channels where we are used to getting our news and information. You’re going to have to actually access the hearings of the House of Representative’s committees to understand what is going on. You will have to read some Bills and court rulings being proposed to find the truth. And you will need to find some people who are truth tellers.
How can you find those truth tellers? Well just find the ones who have been cancelled, shut out, silenced, intimidated, and denied their Constitutional rights. Find those people whose voice “They” have tried to silence. And, along with them, find alternative media that supports them.
Simon Ateba, Chief White House Correspondent for Today News Africa from Cameroon, Africa called out Karine Jean-Pierre when she continually failed to call on him in order to ask questions for more than four months. Tucker Carlson focused on this situation in a recent segment prior to his firing on April 24, “The White House Press Secretary, despite her title, doesn’t exist to convey information but rather to withhold it. In this White House the Press Secretary bans any reporter who asks real questions and that especially includes the finest reporter in all of Africa, Simon Ateba.”
Ateba told Carlson in that segment, “When I first arrived in the United States, having watched CNN for years, I came to believe that the racists and the bad guys in the United States were the Republicans, the old white guys with no college degrees who live in the Midwest. But in the Biden White House, as I have struggled to get access, to ask questions, to be treated with the same dignity as others, I came to realize that the Republicans were not the racists and the horrible, awful people I was told they were.”
When Elon Musk bought out Twitter on October 27, 2022, the left-wing corporate media and most in the government were angry and wanted to stop the transaction. Why? Around that same time Elon Musk told Jimmy Kimmel in an appearance on his late-night television show, “We must protect free speech. Free speech is only relevant when it’s someone you don’t like saying something you don’t like because the speech that you like—it’s easy to protect. The thing about censorship—for those that advocate it just remember at some point that will be turned on you.”
When Elon Musk allowed Matt Taibbi, the former Rolling Stone journalist to report on the Twitter Files, it landed Taibbi in the hot seat testifying in front of the House of Representatives Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government. Democrat Representative from the Virgin Islands Stacey Plaskett called Taibbi “a so-called journalist” and then demanded he give up his sources and information concerning his testimony. Her hostile treatment of Taibbi was clearly apparent. On the same day while Taibbi was testifying on the Hill, the IRS showed up at his personal home. This intimidation of a journalist who was telling what he knew of the government’s censorship in reference to the Twitter Files couldn’t be more obvious.
Then there’s the odd case of the cancellation and firing of James O’Keefe, the founder of Project Veritas. O’Keefe says his own board fired him “coming on the heels of the release of the undercover video where a Pfizer research director expressed concerns about the Covid-19 vaccines and acknowledged that his company planned to mutate the coronavirus through ‘directed evolution.’” O’Keefe went on to describe the Pfizer story as, “The biggest story in organization history.”
But someone at the top wasn’t happy, or perhaps they got pressure from their powerful corporate donors. Whatever the case, O’Keefe was fired, with the internal reason his board suspended him after he attempted to fire the group’s chief strategy and financial officers over alleged conflicts over fundraising.
O’Keefe, the journalist that since 2010 had been breaking big stories of corruption utilizing undercover methods, was cancelled and the truths he produced through that undercover work eliminated.
However, as a side note O’Keefe is already back trying to find and report on the truth. This time he is training citizen journalists how to do the same thing. With his new O’Keefe Media Group (OMG) he and his crew have already come across a potentially massive money laundering scheme into political campaigns—almost 100% being on the Democratic side. Using FEC and state data they have determined that senior citizens who have made small donations to ActBlue—the Democratic donation collection site—or to other campaigns are having a significant number of donations and amounts documented as coming from their address. For instance, an 80-year-old man who lives outside of D.C. has had 31,073 individual contributions made to ActBlue in the last two years for a total amount of $230,155.42. The man denies making those donations, although he admits to a handful of small donations having been made. O’Keefe and his OMG citizen journalists may make some major noise in the name of Truth in the months and years ahead.
Even a Presidential candidate is being censored and stifled. On April 27, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., who is running for President on the Democratic ticket and who is moving up in the polls against the unpopular Biden, was interviewed by ABC News’ Lindsey Davis. Kennedy, who wrote the definitive book last year on the pandemic and particularly the issues surrounding the Covid-19 vaccines entitled The Real Anthony Fauci: Bill Gates, Big Pharma, and the Global War on Democracy and Public Health discussed these topics with Davis.
When he started talking about the vaccine, Davis tried to cut him off, although Kennedy said he felt they had a lively and mutually-respectful debate. But most of Kennedy’s comments were censored and eliminated. ABC made the following statement: “We should note that during our conversation, Kennedy made false claims about the Covid-19 vaccines. We’ve used our editorial judgement in not including extended portions of that exchange in our interview.”
Kennedy was livid and pointed out that ABC’s actions violated U.S. law (47 U.S. Code 315 – Candidates for public office) as the media can not censor candidates for public office.
Kennedy went on to say, “Offering no evidence, ABC justified this act of censorship by falsely asserting that I made ‘false claims!’ I’m happy to supply citations to support every statement I made during the exchange.
Most believe Kennedy isn’t going to get a chance to defend his stance. According to producer Alex Lorusso in a Tweet, “They are going to censor to interfere with the 2024 election and they aren’t even hiding it.”
And that brings us to the latest cancellation, the latest hit job, the latest silencing of a truth teller. Tucker Carlson, the top mainstream media host in the country in all time slots and in all markets was released by FOX News without warning on Monday, April 24. The rest of the week the ratings plummeted as conservatives started to figure out what was going on. Even FOX News, the most conservative mainstream media company today, isn’t really interested in telling the truth either. They are interested in making their corporate advertisers and donors happy and the owners, the Rupert Murdoch family, are all in to ensure Donald Trump does not win re-election in 2024. Murdoch reportedly has made it clear, “FOX will not back Donald Trump in another Presidential run.”
It’s not clear why Tucker is out at FOX, but it didn’t take the popular journalist long to find a way to talk to his followers. Two days after being let go, Carlson posted a video on Twitter that had 60 million impressions and over 19 million views.
Carlson didn’t tell the Twitter audience why he was cancelled, silenced, and axed—it could be many reasons based on his recent reporting that had millions checking in each night.
In this video—I’d call it Tucker on Truth—Carlson said, “Debates on big topics like war, civil liberties, emerging science, demographic changes, and corporate power are not permitted.”
He then added, “When honest people say what’s true, calmly and without embarrassment, they become powerful. At the same time, the liars who have been trying to silence them shrink. They become weaker. That’s the iron law of the universe.”
And Tucker then closed by leaving the people with hope, “Where can we still find Americans saying true things? There aren’t many places left, but there are some, and that’s enough. As long as you can hear the words, there is hope.”
His final message—“See you soon.”
Carlson and those who have been cancelled, silenced, intimidated, and thrown in jail on bogus charges aren’t going away. These truth tellers will become more powerful in the near future. You just have to pay attention and look for them—and understand why they are being treated this way.
In the meantime, this truth teller was ‘cancelled’ long ago and is again being cancelled by many today—but those who seek the truth still know where to find Him: Christ Jesus said, “Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:32
