Rosewood Solar, LLC has submitted a Conditional Use Permit application to the Cheyenne County Planning and Development Department for the proposed Rosewood Solar and Storage Project (the “Project”), a new solar and battery storage facility to be located on approximately 3,250 acres of private land in Cheyenne County, Colorado approximately 11 miles northwest of Cheyenne Wells.
The Cheyenne County Planning and Zoning Board will conduct a public hearing on the application on September 29, 2026, at 1:30 PM MDT at 427 South 7th Street W, Cheyenne Wells, CO 80810 in the Fairgrounds Meeting Room.
