The purpose of the hearing is to review the application for the utility scale Rosewood Solar Project, which is proposed to consist of a maximum of 300 Megawatts (MW) and a 300 MW battery energy storage system (BESS), and various appurtenant equipment. The Project would be located in Cheyenne County, Colorado, approximately ten miles northwest of Cheyenne Wells and approximately six miles west of U.S. Highway 385. The Project is situated within Townships 12 South and 13 South, Range 45, including portions of Sections 19, 30, 31, 32, 5, and 6.
