KIOWA COUNTY VOUCHERS JUNE 2018The following vouchers were paid at the Regular Meetings held on June 12, 2018 and June 28, 2018 to be paid out of 2018 Budget to wit:

The Eads School Board met on July 31 in their regularly scheduled meeting and was presented with updates concerning school starting on August 8th. Registration was held on the same night, so Superintendent Glenn Smith did not have a lot of information about students or their respective needs until the start of next week.

The Kiowa County Commissioner’s regular meeting was called to order on June 28, 2018 at 9:00a.m. by Chairman Richard Scott. The Kiowa County Hospital District and County Board met in regular session on May 22, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. at the Bransgrove Building Meeting Room.District Board members present were: Mary Eikner, Sylvia Shields, Cathryn Anderson, Priscilla Waggoner, and Robert Woods.  County Board member present were: Lori Shalberg, John Negley, and Craig Kerfoot. Absent– Dennis Pearson(called).   Others present: Steve Hochstetter, Shannon Dixon, Char Korrell, Ellen Lane, and Beth Spady.

ORDINANCE NO. 403 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF EADS, KIOWA COUNTY, COLORADO, TO ADOPT MINIMUM SETBACK REQUIREMENTS FOR STRUCTURES LOCATED WITHIN THE TOWN BOUNDARIES,  TO CREATE AND / OR AMEND A PERMITTING SYSTEM CONCERNING STRUCTURES BUILT OR LOCATED WITHIN THE TOWN BOUNDARIES, AND TO IMPOSE PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF.

WEED ORDINANCE Town of Eads will soon go around and begin property inspections. The town asks that everyone make sure that their property is taken care of from the curb line to the middle of the alley.  It states in Ordinance 30
