Larry was born August 13, 1949 in Beloit Kansas to Dick and Evelyn Wyatt. Larry moved to Colorado when he was 8 years old. They lived in Eads for their first year in Colorado before moving to the Chivington Grazing Association where he continued to live through high school. Larry loved sports as well as academics through his elementary, junior high, and high school years. He always worked hard to excel in everything he did whether it be sports, academics, or school activities. Larry graduated from Eads High School in 1967.  He was drafted shortly thereafter but was not accepted due to a pre-existing knee injury.

Evelyn Irene Brenton Garner was born August 29, 1922 in Beaumont in Butler County, Kansas to Harry and Julia (Greenwell) Brenton. Four years later a little brother, Ivan Eugene joined the family.

Evelyn entered the first grade at Keighly, Kansas and was advanced to the second grade before Christmas. In February 1929 the family moved to a farm in Prairie Queen northwest of Eads. Evelyn was an outdoor girl, riding horses, milking cows, feeding the hogs, driving tractors, and grain trucks. She helped her dad shingle the barn. She played ball with the neighborhood boys.

     Denny Wall was born on February 7, 1944 in Denver, Colorado.  He spent his younger years on ranches near Limon, Colorado and Deer Trail, Colorado, before his family moved to Montana.  Denny graduated from Custer County High School in Miles City in 1963.  While gaining recognition as a bull rider, saddle bronc rider, and bareback rider, he attended Casper College and the University of Wyoming before going on to qualify for the National Finals Rodeo in bull riding in 1965, 1966, 1967 & 1968.  One of his proudest moments was winning Cheyenne Frontier Days in 1966.
