The Kit Carson Lady Wildcats remain unbeaten as area teams are winding down their regular seasons this week and prepare to head into the District Tournament on October 28th at the LCC Wellness Center.

Lamar Softball Wins Regional Championship; Advances to 3A State Tournament this Weekend

The Lamar Savages are seeded #5 in the 3A state tournament that will be played at the Aurora Sports Complex this weekend with the first round starting on Friday, October 21 at 10:00 am. The team has a good early seed but in the semifinals would more than likely have to go through the top team in the state, Strasburg, to advance to the state championship.

Kit Carson Dominates Eads 48-8 in Conference Shoot Out

It was rival week across the area as many schools who are in close proximity to each other paired up in their annual and intense rivalry games. McClave got the better of Wiley, and Granada defeated Holly in the 8-man ranks. But, no rivalry seems to be as emotional as the one between Eads and Kit Carson. Each team has a winning tradition and each team has an intense desire to defeat the other.
