Charles Edward Barber, age 84, of Longmont, Colorado passed away peacefully on Monday, March 13, 2023. Charles was born in Lamar, Colorado.

Donald Ray “Don” McDaniel was born on May 19, 1925 in Eads, Colorado the son of Roland and Lottie Wilkins McDaniel. Don married Phyllis Martha Elgin and they raised three children.

Laurel Arnold Niemann, 93, of Flagler, Colorado passed away on February 28, 2023 at Weisbrod Memorial County Hospital in Eads after a long life of service to his faith, family, community and country.

Susan Jean Fox, beloved daughter, sister, mother and friend, died of cancer complications on March 3, 2023.

Denis James Weber was born at the family farm in Sheridan Lake, Colorado on September 15, 1933 to Frank and Agatha Weber. He was the eighth of 8 children.

Betty Ann (Harrison) Jones was born on April 18, 1938. She passed on February 12, 2023, surrounded by family.

Clarence (“Pete”) Alvin Pedersen was born on a farm in Cheyenne County, southwest of Arapahoe on October 27, 1929. Clarence was the third of four children.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, March 3, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Grace Lutheran Church in Cheyenne Wells.

Rob Kelley was born in Eads, Colorado on May 25, 1949 to his parents Irene and Eugene Kelley. He joined his siblings, Betty (Crow), Bobbie (Calhoun), and Gary, who would prove to be a constant presence in his life.

Mary Ellen Ziegler passed from this earthly life to her heavenly home on February 7, 2023, at Cheyenne Manor, her home for the past 7 years. She was 97 years of age.

Glenn Samuel Specht, age 99 years, 44 weeks, 5 days, died February 8, 2023 at his home with family present. He was born in Seward County, Kansas March 30, 1923 to Samuel G.

Angela Dawn Davis, was born on September 22, 1972 in Cheyenne Wells, CO to Ernest and Ida Mae Parkes Davis. Angela passed away January 13, 2023, at the age of 50 from complications of a recent illness.

Marguerite Quackenbush (aka Marge or Margie) passed away January 17, 2023 at Keefe Memorial Hospital in Cheyenne Wells, Colorado. She was 92 years young.

Creighton Osborne was born February 12, 1924 and grew up in Brewster, Kansas, the second of five children of Clarke and Lourene (O’Neal) Osborne. His siblings are Dorothy Mayer, Marna Williams, Velda Jones and Elroy Osborne.

Ervin Mitchek was born on a farm in Cheyenne County, Colorado on November 22, 1936 to Charles J. and Martha Mitchek.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023 beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Kit Carson.
