Judy Lucia (Dalrymple) Weed, 82, died Tuesday, August 4th in Cheyenne Wells, Colorado surrounded by family and friends. Judy is survived by her husband, Victor Lewin, three children, Victor Leon Weed, Skiatook, Oklahoma, Shannon (Brad) Ralph, Dodge City, Kansas, and Christopher (Destri) Weed, Skiatook, Oklahoma, five grandchildren, Michael (Meg) Ralph, Jennifer Ralph, Kelli (Mitch) Fiala, Joshua Weed, Leah Minshall, four great-grandchildren, Addison Ralph, Cameron Ralph, Clare Fiala, Luke Fiala, and one sister, April Baily. Judy was preceded in death by one son, Casey, her parents, and her older sister Pat Haslem.
Helen LaVerne (Bass) Miller was born August 7, 1923 in Bellaire, Ohio, to Clyde Everett and Helen Isabel (Anderson) Bass. She passed away on March 29, 2020, at the age of 96, at Prairie Pines in Eads, Colorado.
Jeffery (Jeff) Frank LeFlore was born on August 30th, 1956 in Torrance, California to Margie Marie (Wallen) LeFlore and Jean LeFlore. He passed away March 19th, 2020 at Keefe Memorial Hospital in Cheyenne Wells, Colorado.
Jeff is the fourth child of 14 children – Jeanie, Jay, Mary Jo, Jeff, Laz, Pud, Patricia, Melody, John,Jenny Lou, Dixie Lee, Little Jean, Joseph and Willie. Jeff attended Bloomfield Elementary, Killingsworth Jr High and Artesia High School in California.
Pattie Lee Richardson was born on November 23, 1935 in Eads, Colorado, the second child of Merwin and Geraldine Hightower Dunlap. Pattie grew up in Eads, graduating from Eads High School. After graduating high school Pattie was united in marriage to her high school sweetheart and best friend Marvin Richardson. They continued to make their home in Kiowa County where their five children were born and eventually made Eads their permanent home.
Lyle States was born on March 11, 1960 in Eads, Colorado to Donald & Betty Jean States. Lyle passed away on October 7, 2019 in Colorado Springs, CO following a brief illness. At this time the family lived 5 miles north of Holly, Colorado. In 1967 the family moved to the Koen farm west of Lamar. Lyle attended Wiley School from 1967 to his graduation in May of 1978. During this time Lyle was an active part of the family's farming operation. In 1979 the family struck out on a mining adventure near Cave Creek, Arizona. Lyle & his brother Clint had many good memories of the times on the mining claim.
