Pam, age 87, was born in Eads, CO to James (Red) Lane and Velma Lane in a little house near the Eads Schoolhouse where the midwife lived. Today it is now known as the lunchroom.

William Michael “Bill” Barlow, 79, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving wife and family, on August 18, 2026. Born on July 13, 1947, in Lamar, Colorado, Bill was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and true Western outdoorsman.

Karen Marie Matthew, 52 died late afternoon on August 8th 2026 at Southeast Colorado Hospital and Nursing Home in Springfield Colorado. She was born April 13, 1974 to Dorothy “ Dottie “ Marie Robinson in Picayune, Mississippi.

Funeral Services for Holly, Colorado resident, Barbara Thompson will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 21, 2026 at Holly Methodist Church in Holly, Colorado with Pastor Kathy Leathers officiating. Interment will follow in the Holly Cemetery.
